For anything over 0.5” I will often cut the corner close to the pattern with a saw and then round it just to prolong bit life and make it safe for myself. This template sits flush to the end of the cornhole board and the 6” hole can be cut with a bearing pattern bit as seen in the photos. I like to use a 1\/4” bit and cut down from the top. Using this pattern will result in perfect cornhole hole placement every time - simply place the bottom arrow in the exact middle of your board and square to the end and your hole will be perfectly placed.
